Evoke Energy Yoga is a revitalizing and nourishing discovery-based yoga practice accessible to all backgrounds & body types.

Evoke Energy Yoga infuses a conscious collection of eastern and energy medicine healing practices into Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Healing and Baptiste Power Vinyasa Flows. The Evoke methodology uses the awareness of Divine sensation in the physical body as an anchor and entry point for exploring the micro-sensory layers of the subtle energy body. Through sacred stillness, this sensitivity attunement grounds the charge of the Central Nervous System which facilitates optimal parasympathetic health for profound and lasting physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being and creaminess.

Evoke Energy Yoga offers yoga teachers, students and seekers an opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience of Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Healing Flow, Baptiste Power Yoga and energy-based healing practices and teach based on the Baptiste Power Yoga Methodology. The delivery framework supports teachers to purposefully and masterfully shape the energy in their classrooms in ways that leave students feeling revitalized nourished, and empowered. Evoke classes, workshops, trainings & retreats are consciously created to call forth your innate inner power and healing wisdom.

Energy is all there is.

Everything in the universe is made of energy vibrating at different frequencies, and we can channel this life force to stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself.  As vessels for divine grace, we are the faucet, not the water and when we open the tap through the application of balanced action - effort and ease - we can & dissolve our physical, mental & energetic blocks and create a new level of openness, freedom and connection.

Yin Yoga I Training: Introduction to Practicing and Leading

Yin is one of the fastest growing styles of yoga and helps tone connective tissue, ligaments and tendons which are critical to our physical well-being and range of motion. Postures are practiced on the floor and each is held for 3-5 or more minutes. As a result, the body is energized, encouraging a free flow of chi, prana, or “life force” of the body that often gets blocked or stagnant.

IN THIS TRAINING YOU WILL:

  • Learn about Yin Yoga history and philosophy

  • Explore the differences between Yin and Yang styles of Yoga and the benefits of Yin practice

  • Gain a basic understanding of energy/prana/chi and the meridians and connective tissues

  • Establish a safe practice using compression and tension

  • Explore the major Yin Yoga asanas

  • Learn to shape yin energy and lead classes using the Baptiste methodology

  • Practice teach Yin Yoga and receive specific, concrete feedback to inform your future teaching

No prior experience is necessary. Accessible to yoga teachers, students and seekers—suitable for all levels of practitioner. Please bring your journal, pen, snacks, lunch, water bottle, yoga mat, and anything else that brings you power and comfort i.e. mala beads, crystals, mementos, stuffy, etc.

Join Brandy Berlin and Suzy Aragon in this full day workshop to deepen your understanding and teaching of Yin Yoga and its relationship to the energy body. The basic substance of a person is energy. The motions of life are energy. Explore this experientially and feel the physics of the mind and body connection through the charge in your own body and walk away ready to integrate this wisdom into your practice and teaching of Yin (and Healing Flow) classes.

IN THIS TRAINING WE DELVE MORE DEEPLY INTO:

  • How Yin practice affects meridians, nadis, chakras, energy/prana/chi

  • The meridians and chakras as energy systems

  • The 6 main meridians strongly affected by Yin—where they are, what they affect, why does it matter

  • Foundations and techniques of sequencing, transitions and flow in a Yin practice

  • Gain a basic understanding of the Central Nervous System and its role in overall health and well-being

  • Expand your repertoire of Yin poses & wall Yin

  • Contraindications and modifications of common medical conditions

  • Introduce and experience associated fields of energy work to enhance your Yin practice

  • Shaping yin energy and leading classes using the Baptiste methodology

No prior experience is necessary. Accessible and to yoga teachers, students and seekers—suitable for all levels of practitioner. Please bring your journal, pen, snacks, water bottle, mat, a bolster if you have one, if not bring a bed pillow and if you would like, a blanket.
